Housing and impeller program with Keelson Precision Manufacturing
Four decisions are yours between Oct 6 and Oct 9.
Three RFQs wait for a drawing revision letter, the housing family quote needs your decision, the bore tolerance waits on revision D, and order 2287 would grow from 400 to 650 units and add 3 weeks. Keelson recommends and you decide. Nothing is released before you answer.

Decision status
DecisionsAll four are Tarrow's to decide, in date order. Today is Thursday, Oct 1.

Decision sheet
- 6Tue Oct
Send the drawing revision letters
Which drawing revision applies to RFQ 5125, 5127 and 5129. Each RFQ is missing only that fact.
- Keelson recommends
- Send all three together. Benedict releases complete RFQs to engineering review on Oct 7.
- If it waits
- The RFQs cannot enter engineering review, so no quote starts and its 30 day validity cannot begin.
- 7Wed Oct
Record your decision on quote Q-9235
Accept, decline or ask a question on the quote for the new housing family. Rosalind Chau approved its price and capacity.
- Keelson recommends
- Read the issued quote and its valid-until date, and ask Benedict anything unclear before you decide.
- If it waits
- Nothing is ordered from the quote until you answer. It stays valid for 30 days from issue.
- 8Thu Oct
Decide the three questions on revision D
Bore tolerance on RFQ 5102, flange flatness on RFQ 5111 and the port thread class on RFQ 5124.
- Keelson recommends
- Decide the bore tolerance first. Keelson records your decision and does not choose between two readings of a drawing.
- If it waits
- The RFQ 5102 quote cannot take a bore tolerance, so the housing quote is not built.
- 9Fri Oct
Accept or decline the order 2287 change
Raise order 2287 from 400 to 650 impellers, part IMP-220-B. The revised offer adds $29,500 and 3 weeks.
- Keelson recommends
- Accept only if a Nov 28 delivery works for your builds. If Nov 7 matters more, decline and the order stays at 400.
- If it waits
- The order stays at 400 units on Nov 7. No material is released and no rescheduling starts.
Also due Oct 9: acknowledge the two casting delays on orders 2284 and 2291, or ask for a different date. See Delivery.
